About me
‘Damme!’ spluttered Bush, thumping his fist in his hand. ‘Glorious! Glorious!’
Mia Jankowicz is an independent curator and writer who will only be satisfied when her work pleases the world as much as the sinking of the Natividad pleased Lieutenant William Bush.
She is currently a participant of De Appel’s Curatorial Programme in Amsterdam, after having run the international residency programme at Gasworks, London. The vague topics that she likes to read, write and organise around include feminism, the commons, interventionist artistic practices, and critical media practice. Some of these interests have been reflected in the ongoing project Disclosures organised with Anna Colin.
Dear Mia,
I just found you online via Muhammad Zeeshan/Green Cardamom, and thought to drop you a note to say hello as I live about 5 mins walk from De Appel – do stop by/say hello some time if you are in the area!
All best,
Rhiannon Pickles (we met at Aicon gallery in London a few times, and perhaps also at Green Cardamom??)
